2020 Grant Application

Thank you for applying for a CAPS Grant! We look forward to seeing your great ideas for your classrooms!

This year the Grant Submission Window is September 28-October 9, 2020. Any Grant Applications received after that date will not be considered.

Teachers will be notified of Grant Awards on Oct. 30, 2020.

Please refer to the "2020 Grant Intent", "CAPS FAQs" and "How to Successfully Write a CAPS Grant" for detailed instructions regarding the Grant Application.

- You may make changes to your Application form until the Grant Window closes on October 9th.

- Please include shipping and handling. The Google Form will calculate tax. Total grant request must be less than $1,500 including tax and shipping or it will not be considered.

- Each Application can only accommodate 5 items. If you are requesting more than 5 items, you will need to complete additional Applications. Label them consecutively so we know you are requesting more than 5 items as part of the same grant (i.e. “Books for the Classroom - Part 1, Books for the Classroom - Part 2, etc.)

- CAPS does not provide gift cards or reimbursements to grant recipients. All granted items will be purchased by CAPS or the AUSD District Office.

Technology Requests MUST be pre-approved by the AUSD Technology Services Department. Please enter the Technology Request Number from your Technology Approval Form on your Grant Application. https://forms.gle/hTYapRJkZgxdfr9k8

Transportation Requests CAPS will not offer grants for field trips this year due the uncertainty caused by COVID-19. As an alternative we suggest virtual field trips or arranging for guest speakers who are able to present their work either via video conference or in-person if students are able to return to the classroom later in the year.
